Brisbane Valley Ostrich Farm was established in 1992 with 4 chicks, we incubated our own eggs and reared the chicks by hand.

Initially we sold them for breeding, and now after 12 years with Ostriches, we have combined our Ostrich Farm with our Fish Farm as a tourist attraction.

We still have many of our original ostriches for you to see, and have your photo with. We conduct tours of the farm for group bookings.

Our farm has many types of domesticated birds, including peafowl, chickens & guinea fowl.

Guests are invitied to a tour of the farm, including spending time with the ostriches or "idealistic timewasters" as Patti calls them and our emu "Lou Lou".

Patti is also an animal wildlife carer and often has local fauna under care, like these cute little sugar gliders! You are welcome to see and learn about anything on the farm with Alan & Patti.
